With this petition, we oppose the construction of the Gerby rinne residential area planned by the city of Vaasa in the nearby forest, which is very important to the residents of the area. The area is planned for e.g. apartment buildings, townhouses and detached houses. The forest is located in the area between Rantalahdentie, Gerby rantai, Suopellontie and Mäntymaantie.We hope that the city of Vaasa would respect the wish of many residents of Gerby to preserve the area as a local forest and take responsibility for protecting the diversity of urban forests. For the residents of the area, the forest is the most important just as it is now. Let's also let future generations enjoy the versatile well-being effects of our beautiful forest.
